Are they protagonist or antagonist?
Anna was a protagonist, but if you follow her role in here, first you gonna confused, then hate her for being selfish, then later confused again finally feeling sorry and anggry her weakness, and final decesions, such a tragedy in life.

Who are they? What was their role in the book?
Anna was the main character, the stories build based upon her relationship with the cold husband and her beloved boyfriend, yes indeed she's having affairs with another man while she still on respectable marriage (at least that everyone sees it).

She like a candle that lighter by the fire, but also very soon crumble, melted before time ... when she realize the reality of life she must face it, everyday, in the future.

She discribe as a beautiful, attractive, elegant, inteligent woman, everybody amaze and charmed by her, but deep inside she haven't had self confidence to love and exceptance to what she is...so she never be happy with her condition. She depends on others to make decision of her life, never had the courage to do something different. When she finally gets the courage to do that, a wrong and bad choice she took to end her own life. I really had no sympathy to everyone that doesn't want to fight for their own life, life indeed very hard, but also so precious to lose it for nothing.
How do they develop throughout the book?
Anna's character moving toward from good to worse, she was a naive person until Vronsky show-up, giving her some idealic version of different life, then she changing her dreams, her hope, always compare her life between Karenin or Vronsky. But when she finally with Vronsky, turn out she still chasing some dreams. Anna was a dreaming girl, she indeed a mother of two, and a wife, but she cannot seperate her dreams with her responsibility.

I cannot love her, but do I hate her, well maybe a little bit, mostly I feel sorry for her unhappiness, she blaming everybody for the bad-conditions, but she didn't want to take some responsibility of her own-act.
What lessons or influences you got from them?
Life was never be simple, humans are very complex person, and relationships is a bridge everyone has to build and keep on developing on each steps we take to the future. Whatever you think is gonna reflect on your act, your act is determined what your gets, so good or bad is not always because somebodyelse doing, but mostly because of ourself relection of mind. And I can quote this :
